This directory of veterinary practices has been compiled from a combination of the comments of BCG members and from veterinary practices which are interested in treating chelonians.
The BCG does not accept any responsibility for any service offered, treatment provided or any charges for treatment from practice within this directory. Ultimately the decision on which practice to attend is your responsibility. The BCG veterinary liaison officer is happy to advise any veterinary surgeon regarding treatment of a chelonian case, but this discussion must only be with the attending veterinarian.
The list has been simplified in order to prevent undue predudice to any individuals on this list. Practices will vary in the services they offer and in the experience and qualifications of the veterinarians. When making first contact with a veterinary practice it would be wise to assess the level of service that practice can provide.
