An opportunity to hear about projects from people directly involved in chelonian conservation, husbandry and veterinary practice, as well as meeting other enthusiasts.

LECTURERS:

PROFESSOR JOHN and MRS MARGARET COOPER will present a joint lecture with the latest news from KENYA.
TITLE: Kenya, Kobe and Convocation: post-Covid recovery and renaissance.
Professor and Mrs Cooper  will also be running the CPD session, assisted by animal author and Editor of PRACTICAL REPTILE KEEPING, DAVID ALDERTON.

DR JUNE CHATFIELD OBE will give a lecture on the foraging habits of our charges
TITLE: A little bit of what you fancy: Tortoises selecting food on free range

MS JEN JONES of the GALAPAGOS CONSERVATION TRUST  will present the conservation lecture
TITLE: How Climate change is affecting Galapagos

MS SARAH PELLETT, an exotic practitioner, will present the veterinary slot
TITLE: Climate Change. Is this affecting chelonian cases in practice?

Mr DILLON PREST , Manager of Swallow Aquatics, will present the terrapin lecture
TITLE: The problem with terrapins

DR ALAN REES will present the sea turtle lecture
